These were great! My most recent travel vanilla knitting, and my favourite part was just seeing how this yarn was going to work up. And as you might notice, definitely unpredictable! I think its done something slightly different on each part of both socks! But I love them! ❤️🌈🧦 Definitely not for wearing in the current weather though, but later in the year for sure! 😅

My first ever knitted sock so it’s definitely not perfect, but I’m really pleased with how it turned out! I absolutely loved knitting with this wool, especially because you never quite knew how the pattern and colours were going to look until you had actually knitted them. It made the whole thing really fun and kept me wanting to do a few more rows just to see what appeared next. So pleased with the quality and it exceeded my expectations. I wanted to make my daughter some lovely cosy winter socks to wear in the cold evenings, and this feels just right for that. Soft, warm and really nice to knit with. Now I just need to knit the second sock!?

Brilliant sock yarn. This is now my ‘go to’ yarn for making socks. I’ve been so pleased with it. Having the extra yardage means I can usually get 2.5 to 3 socks out of a ball, depending on the size and length. It knits up well and washes well with no colour bleeding, which I’ve found with other brightly coloured yarns. It’s soft, and I’ve found very few knots. The colours are true to the photos.

I hadn’t come across New Zealand wool to knit with before, but I’m so glad I have. I’m thrilled too that the colours I’ve used so far haven’t ‘bled’ when I’ve washed the socks, a problem I’ve encountered in the past.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I have been with the Sock Flock wool I have bought. It’s become my ‘go to’ for making socks, so I can foresee many future orders. Our elder son and his wife emigrated to New Zealand at the end of last year, and love it. He took up knitting just before they left too.

Looked great and an ideal colour for a men's sock plus the yarn had a nice ‘feel’ to it. However before i had knitted the first sock, i needed to deal ‘correctly’ with 4 knots. I love the colour and feel of the yarn but sadly i would not buy again.

Not as good. I liked the last shade of Sock Flock that I purchased it was easy to knit with etc., but this shade seems completely different quality. It varies in its thickness as I knit, it's fluffier than the other one, just not as nice. Very disappointed.

It’s a nice yarn but there were parts of it where the yarn was thicker then others making it odd to work with - may be just an unlucky dip - but it still made a nice sock. I used 2.5mm needles.
